Ras Mamlach, Sinai

   Egypt  Red Sea
More than a Jeep safari - Real Technical Cave Diving!
20 kilometer south of Nuweiba, located in the National park Ras Abu Galum, you will find the famous drop off " Ras Mamlach".
We planned a dive into one of the cracks in the reef - the cave of Ras Mamlach, more than 100 meters deep.
Mission of the dive was to arrive at "the windows" - some openings at 65 m in the outer reef wall, leading to the blue water of the drop off...
Caution - many old rotten and tangel remains of guidelines!
No continuous guidline! Be prepared for gap!
only for experienced cave divers recommended
Overhead environment - sure you want to dive ?
be familar with your dive partners
team of 3 ideal
dive suggestion: windows in 65 meter, app. 20 minutes bottom time, TX 18/45
travel 32%,deco 50%, 100%
access: easy of shore
visibility up to 10 meter in the beginning, opens up in 50 meter to cristall clear
wide selection of sediment, covered walls, sea urchins dropps from the seeling and agressive lion fishs while deco
red tape stuff demand a local guide
Be prepared for extra oxygen - on the way back via Nuweiba you need to pass a mountain range (780 meter for about 20 minutes)

Rangiroa atoll

   French Polynesia  Pacific
this dive is amazing. starting outside the pass (during the incoming tide) the zodiac drops you into the blue. by the time you meet up with your buddies under the boat, the sharks are already arriving, usually oceanic silvertips, silkeys and reef. dropping down to about 40 metres you will probably see a great hammerhead or two cruising the outer edges of the pass , usually they trail the large schools of eagle rays that cruise the area. if the visability is good you'll be able to see literally hundreds of sharks circling a submerged seamount below you. catching the tide you'll pick up speed as you "fly" through the pass , as hundreds of barracuda, the resident dolphins and some really big mantas glide past. ducking into one of the small caves is a great way to get out of the current and watch the amazing show , its also where you'll find the "sleeping" sharks . as you drift through the pass you'll be gradually getting shallower until you arrive in the lagoon and the end of an amazing ride . and like all great rides the first thing you want to do when its over is do it again.

Red Coral Reef

   Malta  Mediterranean Sea
Red Coral Reef is a dive that you can stay just about as long as you like. It is only 10 meters deep so your deco time is a gift from god:) also since it is not deep the colors shout out at you and it is one of the few places in the med you can see the red coral. It is located right off St Julians. We had gone with one of the dive shops in St Julians (Neptunes Dive Center).
They have a dive boat and it only took us 5 min from the base to get there. If you like colors this will be the dive for you!

Racha Noi South Tip

   Thailand  Andaman Sea
Racha Noi another further South offers on the east side sandy areas with hard corals and rock formations. One truly spectacular dive site is the "SouthTip". Giant boulders are nicely covered with soft corals and the scenery is almost like Similan Islands. Deep water around guarantees good visibility and occasional strong current put forward and bigger pelagics such as barracudas, leopard sharks, eagle rays, blackspotted stingrays, big groupers and manta rays.
