Ulong Channel

   Palau  Pacific
This is one of my favorite dives in Palau, and is best done on an incoming tide. Dive starts when you drop down a mooring line and swim with the reef wall on your left until you reach the mouth of the channel wherein you stop and hook in to watch sharks or other big fishes go by. After this, you to the mouth of the channel, an area where currents can range from none to very fast! The channel has a sandy bottom at the center, around 30-40ft in depth, and on both sides, you can see a lot of nice macro life and a lot of sharks too! The most visually stunning part of this dive is the big patch of lettuce coral on the right side as you move along the channel. It is like a huge condominium of fish. If you have to choose another dive site next to Blue Corner, then Ulong Channel must be on your list.

Umbria Wreck - Sudan

   Sudan  Red Sea
Another very interesting point is the wreck of Umbria, ship sunk by the Italians just learned into war in our country, on the reef Wingate, a "monster" of 160 metres lying on the left side, make available all its Internal with an exhilarating journey through time, between holds many many weapons, tools and means of transport. A true good for lovers of wrecks, as well as photos of the environment and even the macro.

USS New York

   Philippines  Philippine Sea
Excellent dive site. The 8" guns are still in place and intact. A little deep for marine life (corals) but a lot of fish and fans.

USS Oriskany

   United States
This is one of the great dive sites in the Gulf of Mexico. The 900' long air craft carrier is a monster and has something for everyone. The island is just 65' below the surface and stops at the flight deck 135' down. This is where the bulk of the diving takes place, but for the tech divers out there this wreck is a playground and a half that you can have almost all to youself. You don't have to take my word for it go online and contact any of the shops in Pensacola, Fl. ( I suggest MBT Divers 850 455 7702 or website )they all agree this is THE GREAT CARRIER REEF.

Umm Said/Old Club Reef

   Qatar  Arabian Sea
A man-made reef thanks to local dive clubs. Located at the end of a the road between the Q-Chem fenceline and the Sealine resort. There are several vehicles, buses, a pickup and some small boats as well several piles of metal/etc. This is a favorite local dive. This shore dive has easy entry and depths are from about 14-16 meters. Hamour are seen regularly as are blue angel fish (they love bananas), and other small local fish. Occasionally barracuda appear to liven things up. GPS Coordinates are: 24° 52.189' E 051° 31,84'
