Snoopy Island

United Arab Emirates  Gulf Of Oman
Snoopy Island can be visited from Sandy Beach Motel (this dive site is the only shore dive on the East Cost) or from the boat. The southern side of the island offers the more interesting diving. There's plenty to see here, including several species of hard and soft corals and anemones. You can expect to see big mouth mackerel, morays, clownfish, lionfish. You may also see turtles and sharks. Look out for smaller marine life: pipefish, shrimps, crabs, nudibranchs...

Honokeana Cove, Maui, Hawaii

   United States  Pacific
Moderate Reef in very shallow waters. Excellent Snorkeling/Free Diving, but a bit shallow and bland for SCUBA. Maximum depths are around 18' and visibility is sometimes poor with some thermal mixing at the surface, but the cove is very well protected and calm, even in a strong north-west swell. Easy, effortless entry, even when 3-5 foot surf is breaking outside the points of the cove. A cleaning station for green sea turtles and the protection of this calm cove make it one of the most spectacular turtle-freindly dives I've even done on Maui. Often more than a dozen large turtles can be found here, ranging in size from young (dinner plate sized) to ancient (dinner table sized). Access is easiest for guests at the Napili Point Resort or the Honokeana Cove Condos, but there is a public pathway that requires a trek across the grounds of Napili Point. Parking is difficult for non-guests, but can be found nearby.

Gordo Banks san Jose del cabo,Baja California sur

   Mexico  Pacific
This is a submarine mountain that go up from a 400m depth in the sea of Cortez about 10 miles from the shore and 2 hours navigation from Cabo San Lucas. The top is 35-40 metres depth. We go down always holding the ancor line to the top of the mountain due to the strong current. We dive always near the bottom and we do decompression stop. It's a drift dive and the boat captain follow our bubble,in the safety stop we use always the safety boa.Due to the strong current and plancton there is a lot of fish like tuna, trevally, wahoo, dorado, grouper, murray, marlin, sailfish, hammerheads, silky sharks, mako, grey sharks, tiger shark, bull sharks, whale sharks, mantas, dolphins and before november to april humpback whales. This site is very famous in Baja California due to the big schooling of hammerheads always present in this area.Due to the current the visybilti could be very bad.The temperature shift from 15-18deggrees in winter and 24-28 in summer months. The best period to dive there is october and november when ther are a lots of hammerheads and good visibility about 20 metres
It's for experienced diver and Photographer. You can get there in a day trip from Cabo san lucas or in a dive cruise of Baja California Sur.There i used nitrox at 28% for two dives. It's recommanded semy dry suite or dry suit in winter wet suit in summer. To make photos i recommend the wide angle and two strobes

Amazing in the day and incredible as a night dive.

Kahe Point

   United States  Pacific
There are a lot of fish here because of the heat outlet from the power plant near by. Don;t worry, its just heat, not toxic waste or anything. This is probably the best place to snorkel on Oahu, but the conditions have to be flat because there is a large shore break. Also, if there are spear fishermen, they will scare off the fish.
