Chase Reef, Breakwater Cove. Monterey Bay, California.

   United States  Pacific
This is a beautiful dive site in Monterey. It is shallow, and sits at about 60 feet. The corals here are stunning and very colorful. There is an abundance of Rockfish, Lingcod, Wolf Eel, Strawberry Anemone, Ocean Sunfish, and Leopard Sharks.

Just outside Coron.

Taken from the Philippines Siren boat. Manila, to get boat at Batangas to then sail to Coron post Typoon Haiyan. Great dive team, good boat, but past its best and could not sail due to mask problems.

WOODHOUSE REEF Straight of Tiran Sharm El Sheikh

   Egypt  Red Sea
The third and the longer of the fourth reefs of the Straight of Tiran. Beautiful wall full of soft corals, canyon at 32mt, sandy bottom at the end of the reef. Washin' machine current at the end of the reef.

Basura beach, Anilao

Many fire urchins at this dive site. The knowledgeable dive guide was kind enough to point out this coleman shrimp for me to shoot. I had to be careful when shooting this photo because fure urchins were everywhere and it is a slope. Luckily for me the photo turned out okay. Need to do some cropping and post editing though but still I am a happy man.

Basura Beach, Anilao

Was a lucky shot since I am a novice. Spent sometime focusing this little fella of about 1cm. Luckily it behaved well after got used to my presence. My compact setup also make this shot possible as the shrimp hide inside some rubbles.
