Mexico Sea Of Cortés /Gulf of CaliforniaEl Bledito, Cabo Pulmo National Park, this is a shallow dive site with one of the highest presence of hard coral colonies in the area. a nice shallow dive that can be done all year round but conditions are extremely changing from cold water to warm cristal, caribbean like water but all the time wonderful.

Sri Lanka Bay of BengalI spent some time talking with fish collectors on the main beach in Colombo. Having then been shown the tanks of fish collected from the local waters for sale to the world, more fish than we had seen in a week of diving!

Spain Atlantic (European coastal)Puerto del Carmen is a live fish tank! Just off the coast there are at least 10 different dive sites either by boat or beach with an amazing quantity of sealife- seahorses, felix the ginormous grouoer, cow breams, guelly jacks etc. for all levels, from 5m to 40, shipwrecks, drift dives and heaven for under water photographers.

Philippines South China SeaWas a lucky shot since I am a novice. Spent sometime focusing this little fella of about 1cm. Luckily it behaved well after got used to my presence. My compact setup also make this shot possible as the shrimp hide inside some rubbles.

Philippines South China SeaFound this particular shrimp hiding in a small gorgonian coral while shooting something else. Thanks to the shrimp for jumping around that caught my attention. There were quite a few of them in the coral. Luckily I was using a compact camera so the setup is small enough for me to poke in for some shots. Not easy to shoot this small size creature close up as a beginner. Guess I was lucky.
