Photo-Db Workstation

Photo-Db Workstation is software for building and using an image database on your personal computer. The main database can also be accessed by local network users over a LAN (by installing a copy on each machine). This database can be uploaded to the Internet, where it will display the images using our online interface.

It is also a fully fledged Point of Sale order taking component.

IMAGExplorer

This is an interface that looks like the Windows Explorer with all the power to manage your computers' directory structure. However, it is optimized for image files.

IMAGExplorer has an extra section not found on the Windows Explorer. Beneath the computers’ directories there is a folder called My Photo Library.

The main purpose of IMAGExplorer is adding records to the image database. You just drag and drop files in any one of 50 image file formats onto My Photo Library. Once in the database you can move them, but never lose them. The source file is tracked automatically.

  IMAGEditor

Photo-Db Workstation has a built-in image editor. This is not meant to be as clever (or complicated) as PhotoShop. It simply has just the tools you need to prepare images for archiving. You do not therefore need to leave the Photo-Db environment for routine tasks.

What about this for magic? Ever shot an image with the wrong lighting setting? e.g. tungsten in daylight. With one click you can redefine the image colour balance. Photo-Db is invaluable for this feature alone!

 Save to the Web

The true power of our integrated data systems becomes apparent when you run Workstation alongside our web applications. You can update the product catalog database offline for bulk updates online.
