This form is used to batch save library images to 3 different resolutions in
three different directories. This is the exact format for Photo-Db web
deployment.
The directories will typically be in the local copy of the web but can be
saved anywhere first and moved online later. Use Browse to find the
directory. Select a file inside that directory (there must be a file already, if
not add one manually using Windows Explorer) and press open.
Use the Set Relative button to complete the rest of the directory
paths (relative to the thumbnails directory).
Directory to save to
Directory folders are specified in the three text boxes. The directories must
be different otherwise you would continually be overwriting files!
Flag to save at that size/directory. Unflag the save checkbox next to a
directory/resolution to exclude it from the save operation. This will apply to
all files.
You must specify the destination directory folder for the save to web
operation. Click Browse to set the thumbnail save directory from the open file
dialog.
This operation assumes that your library files are of sufficiently high
resolution. You do not want to be resizing up!
- Thumbnails:
The directory/folder where the lo-rez (100 pixel)
thumbnail images are to be saved to.
- Preview:
The directory/folder where the medium-rez (300 pixel) preview
images are to be saved to.
- Hi-Rez:
The directory/folder where the hi-rez (original size) images
are to be saved to.
Click Keywords to apply the keyword generator to all the records. Use
whenever the category structure changes. This may take some time, depending on
the size of the database. Be patient!
