message cool Good Morning Brian, Sea Goddess reporting in and voting for this cutie. This blenny has strange cirri above the eyes. Most of them branch and go haywire. These are so regular and uniform. I also love the lips of this guy. Much like the redlipped blenny - they look so 'pouty'. Lovely colour, as usual. Deborah

message Hi Deborah, I'm not sure about the function of cirri. Are they just decoration or can they pick up TV programs on them? smile As for the pouty lips, well I'm reliable informed this one is probably a female or a young male. smile

message I don't know their function, but many times it is critical to the ID to note the cirri. The pouty lips fits either gender choice ;-) Keep this wonderful pics a coming.
