message this message is important Dear Shea,
Thank for your latest submission to the UWP contest smile

You've requested a critique of your photo. How it works :
I will structure my critique into a few chapters and will list some suggested solutions to problem zones ( if there are any ). My critique will be like 2-3 posts in total, please wait with any answers until you see the note 'photo critic completed' - thanks smile

As we photo critics do this job as volunteers, a 'thank you' is always appreciated (no 'thanks' = no more critiques ).

Photo critiques here at UWP are meant to give a helping hand with an analytic review & to suggest solutions. The objective is to see you here as winner one day smile

And here we go ( critique/review starts with the next post ) !

message  Photo Critique

First impression
###Great subject and good angle of capture###

Technical ( score from 1-6, best is 6 )
Exposure : 5, Colours: 2, Sparpness: 4, DOF ( depht of field ) : 5, Contrast : 5

Suggestions :
###Although subjective I would have preferred some more colour in the image this could be achieved by using strobes, filters, adjusting the white balance. If there isn't enough colour present you can convert to B&W this can produce a more punchy result.###

Composition
###Pity the wing on the right has been cropped out. Otherwise excellent.###

message  Epilogue
Great effort with a very good result, just think a little more about composition, also consider when it might be better to convert to B&W.

All the best,

Jim Garland - website - Award Winning Wreck Photography.

End of critique.
