message this message is importantDear Johnny,
as you know my foreword already I directly move on with the review of your photo :
Photo Critique

First impression
lovely colours, but strange crop

Technical ( score from 1-6, best is 6 )
Exposure : 5, Colours: 5, Sparpness: 3, DOF ( depht of field ) : 4, Contrast : 4

Suggestions :
Technically well done. I tiny bit more sharpness would be great but I think you have made the best possible photo with this camera model. Light & colours are just great !

Composition
centered with unusual crop

Suggestions :
Havn't I wrote that before ??? Well : One more time : don't center your subject unless you completly fill the frame. When cropping, try to stick with standard frame ratios such as 3/4, 2/3 etc. However, for this one a vertical frame might be better ;-)

message  Subject
Everyone loves nudis...and so do I - great subject !!!

Suggestions :
The real "nudibranch masters" always want to see the "rhinospheres" ( like the 2 small "horns" of the nudi ) tack sharp. Keep it in mind..."contest-wise" as you are competing against lots of spectalular nudi pics smile

Epilogue
Except the crop & composition issue : absolutly great photo !

All the best,

Rico
