Dear Antonio, Thank for your latest submission to the UWP contest You've requested a critique of your photo. How it works : I will structure my critique into a few chapters and will list some suggested solutions to problem zones ( if there are any ). My critique will be like 2-3 posts in total, please wait with any answers until you see the note 'photo critic completed' - thanks As we photo critics do this job as volunteers, a 'thank you' is always appreciated (no 'thanks' = no more critiques ). Photo critiques here at UWP are meant to give a helping hand with an analytic review & to suggest solutions. The objective is to see you here as winner one day And here we go ( critique/review starts with the next post ) ! | Rico Besserdich 19671 point member

Photo Critique First impression Nice interaction with some disturbing elements. Technical ( score from 1-6, best is 6 ) Exposure : 3, Colours: 3, Sparpness: 3, DOF ( depht of field ) : 3, Contrast : 3 Suggestions : As this photo is generally not a "bad" exposure, it needs a bit more contrast and a slight white balance correction. Composition ....that's a bit tricky..... Suggestions : I would suggest you to fill the frame with the main scene. This requires a powerfull wide-lens or even fisheye-lens. A bit too much water on the upper half of the image. The small fishes are distracting the scenery...I am quiet sure : there could had been a better moment for pressing the button ;-) | Rico Besserdich 19671 point member

Subject Man meets fish = works well often Suggestions : I like photos that show a kind of "interaction" between man & animal. I just would like to recommend to work out the scene better or at least do more shots from different angles and with changing setting. This one is a bit like "point & shoot" and therefore might have it hard to win a contest like this one. I know it all happened within seconds ( meet the grouper ) and it's for sure a great memory shot of this dive. But for contest (winning) photography, people expect a little more. Check out some medal winners here to get an idea what could work in this contest ;-) Epilogue Very cool groupers you have there !!!! Welcome to the UWP contest All the best, ##your name### | Rico Besserdich 19671 point member
