message Thanks Suzan, It was actually very easy. I just steadied the camera with both hands directly over the Christmas Tree Worm, composed, and fired off like 5 or 6 shots until I was happy with the lighting etc. The Christmas tree worm was near the seafloor on a coral mound so I just kneeled on the coral rubble in front of it. I think the VR version of the Nikkor 105 helps to compose for these types of photos.
