Ive been selected to critique this image -

My first impression is that I like the subject matter in the image! The purple sponge really creates separation from the rest of the image. The sponge in the bottom helps create great depth of field ! I give the image a 5 for DOF.

Color (6) Sharpness (6) lighting (4) Contrast (5)

My suggestion is a bit more light would have provided more color on the reef. You might be able to enhance with a photo program which I know you have access to. Are you shooting with one strobe?

I like the image and look forward to seeing more! You have the main tool dailed, in be there all the time!
