First impression

A nice shot smile

Technical ( score from 1-6, best is 6 )

Exposure : 6, Colours: 6, Sharpness: 5, DOF ( depth of field ) : 4, Contrast : 5

Suggestions :

This shot is technically very nice done! Nothing really to complain here. A bit more crisp sharpness, a little play with DOF. Would have been nice.

Composition :

Well drawn lines for perspective. And nice reflections. But missing dynamic!

Suggestions :

As nice this picture is, it lacks of dynamics. And this is, what the audience wants to see of a swimmer or freediver doing sports. The face, the mimic, a shooting angle from front, slighty upwards would give some dramatic movements or expressions. The freediver is too small to give this dynamic.

message  Subject :

A freediver isn't an attractive subject on it's own (exept you have a beautiful women in front of the lens. But then, recommendations applies, too. Or even more.), like an Orca or a diving polar bear would be. It must be a very attractive setting to succeed.

Suggestions :

You have to be creative. Either you try model shoots with a freediver or you do the dynamic sport shooting.

Epilogue :

I clearly see your technical skills. And also the willigness to compose your picture. Nevertheless you have to strive for the most attractive perspective and strive for the unusual picture.

All the best,

Henry
