message this message is importantI thought we were not supposed to enter photos from an artifcial environment containing animals (ie: aquariums) & yet an entry from Wolfgang Zwignagle was shortlisted a day or 2 ago as well as a new entry of a jellyfish taken at an aquarium. I dive in an aquarium & do not feel that photos taken in there should be entries, as I feel that it is a bit like hunting on a game preserve & eventually you will get a good shot. Not really fair to all those who are in the real worlds oceans trying to get that "shot", wouldn't you agree? Maybe some clarification on that & to let other contestants know. Thank you for all you do!

message Hi Lisa
You are correct!
We adopt the EPIC rules and rule 6 precludes marine aquariums
website
like most transgressions it was probably because the entrant did not read the rules. I will try to raise awareness generally and ensure that judges take action in future. We rely on unpaid moderators to police the contests. If no one sees it, it can slip through
Thanks for bringing it to our attention
Regards
Benny
