Member since: Friday, March 31, 2006 | I have been diving since I was 14 year old I am tuning 44 this year. I am original from Cozumel Island, Mexico. When I was a child I ask to my dad to buy ne a camera every time I ask he said to me “no we can afford that luxury”. One day my dad surprise me on my 14teen birthday with a one of those Kodak 110mm camera he said to me this camera is not only yours it is a family camera so you have to shared I said NO PROBLEMA. One day I saw some divers putting their cameras underwater with a plastic cover I thought I could do the same so I put it on a regular plastic bag and I went diving a soon reach 15ft the plastic bag began liking and floated the camera. I didn’t know that the plastic that the divers were using was a special for underwater. I didn’t tell my father and one day he asks for the camera so I told him and you figure it out the rest…. Yup! I got in big trouble. So every time since then I got passion for underwater photography. I never owned any underwater equipment until 1991.
