Well, to be honest I'm rather fresh in both realms. I have always been a keen photographer but only with the basic point and shoot cameras. My main theme in photography is 'travel'. I always try and head overseas for about three months of the year. '08 was mainly spent in Turkey and traveling around Europe. Last year I went to Cuba, Panama and Costa Rica where I developed a passion for scuba diving (Punta Uva in CR....amazing!). This year I'm looking at traveling from Malaysia to Japan to dive off Yonaguni Island and the sunken city there so I'm hopeful that by joining this sight I can gain (and share) knowledge that is going to get me the best I can out of myself and the mulitude of experiences ahead of me. Oh, equipment... right. Currently I'm using a Canon 350D but have my eyes set on the Nikon D90.
