Sabella spallanzanii, a pest in nz waters
Basket star (Astrospartus mediterraneus) shot in an unusually shallow depth: only 8.5m deep. A bit hard to shoot with the 100mm macro (the animal is about 30cm wide) but sightings of this species this shallow are not common.

Juvenille Wolf Eel! These younger wolf eels have the most bright and beautiful colours. Later in life they take on a more subdued grey. This one was hiding out under some bark at about 40ft and was only about 24inches long.
