This very elusive Lined Seahorse was spotted at Blue Heron bridge in Singer Island, FL. I captured this shot using a Nikonos V with a 35mm lens with a 1:3 extension tube.
I found this rare Fingerprint Cyphoma at Bonnie's Arch in Grand Cayman. I was using a Nikonos V, 35mm lens with a 1:3 extension tube, and a Sea & Sea YS-90 Duo strobe on TTL setting.
I took this image at Stingray City in Grand Cayman using a Nikonos V with a 20 mm lens. There were a dozen or more stingrays who made close approaches to each diver, so getting this close-up shot was very easy!
I was driving to Key West, and I had to pull over on my way to capture this shot. When it comes to beautiful sunsets, the Florida Keys is the place to be!
This is another great find at Phil Foster Park in Singer Island, FL which is one of my favorite dive sites. I used my Nikonos V with a 28 mm lens to capture this shot.
This picture was taken on a whim. I was out one night a saw how beautiful the moon looked. I ran upstairs, grabbed my camera, then drove to the beach and took this shot! It was taken at Dania Beach, FL with a Canon Rebel EOS camera.
This moray was peeking out of a metal pipe at Blue Heron bridge, Singer Island, FL. I used my Nikonos V with a 1:3 extension tube to capture this close shot.
I call this photo 'Whatchoo Lookin' At?". This Spotted Scorpionfish sat motionless on the edge of the reef as I framed his face and captured the shot with my Nikonos V.
The Capt. Tony wreck in the Boynton Beach, FL area is covered with these beautiful tunicates. It's one of my favorite wreck dives!
There's a neat little marina in the middle keys where tarpon congregate by the hundreds! I used my Canon Rebel topside and captured this shot.
Tight shot of a brilliant Scrawled Filefish taken at Gulfstream Ledge in Boynton Beach, FL
Stoplight Parrotfish at Molasses Reef, Key Largo, FL I was low in the sand, just waiting a watching. Luckily he decided to swim right next to me, only 2 feet away, and I was able to get this close-up shot!
Inquisitive octopus peeking out of a cement block at Blue Heron bridge.
Colorful Bearded Fireworm at Blue Heron bridge, Singer Island, FL
This adorable Green Turtle seemed to want to pose and show me his 'best side' while I was diving at Molasses Reef in Key Largo, FL. I approached very slowly, and he let me move in for a really tight shot!
I captured this shot of a young beachcomber at sunset while enjoying the beach at sunset myself at Crystal River in Florida. I used a Canon Rebel EOS with an 80 - 200mm zoom lens
I've entitled this picture 'Sweet Potato' for obvious reasons! I found this cute Porcupinefish under a ledge near Boynton Beach.
Dive buddy Linda floats freely inside the Wreck of the Sapona in Bimini. I took this as a novice photogapher (pre-Nikonos), using a Sea & Sea MX-10 with an attached 20 mm wide conversion lens with filter
