Female sea lion sleeping at the surface at Los Islotes in the Sea of Cortez. She was resting there, so I swam up close to her with may 10-22 and captured this shot inches from her nose.

This was taken on a barrier island near Lopez Mateos where several turtles wash up daily as a result of bycatch.
