Touch. An old capture from the mid 1990's using my old Nikonos V with a 20mm lens in natural light. Image shot off Catalina Island at f/5.6 1/125 seconds in about 20' of water.

Color Tease. A shy blue-banded goby at Catalina Island. Image taken with a Canon Digital Rebel and 60mm f/2.8 lens in Ikelite Housing with DS50 strobe. Shot at f/22 and 1/320 second.

After playing hide and go seek under the kelp for 1/2 an hour he finally got comfortable enough with me to make contact by first tugging on my fins, then I rolled over and sat on the oceans bottom trying to get a good picture of this inquisitive seal

by Austin Rice
I snapped this with my cousin's Canon G10. Believe it or not, the deckhand in the white shirt is dry. The stern of the boat dropped when the swell passed it. The crest of the swell was between the boat and me. The deckhand was standing on a platform.

by Walt Conklin
I was trying to get the gorgonian properly exposed with the diver overhead while this Garibaldi was constantly pecking at my dome port, finally he came to the center and I got this shot.

by Walt Conklin
Back off/ This was my first encounter with a Mantis Shrimp, I was a little hesitant to get too close.
