Photo Critique

First impression
don't turn your back on me, baby :-)))

Technical ( score from 1-6, best is 6 )
Exposure : 4, Colours: 4, Sparpness: 4, DOF ( depht of field ) : 4, Contrast : 3

Suggestions :
Somehow, everything is purple in this photo. Please check your white-balance.

Composition
centered.....( again ! ), downward angle

Suggestions :
don't center your subject in the frame. Please learn basics of composition first ;-)
regarding angle : it's a downward shot....but due to the subject's shape I've found this acceptable. However : This shot requires a 3/4 ratio and vertical frame. Just think about is ;-)

Great critter !

Suggestions :
I highly recommend that you not shoot the back. this counts for all marine lifeforms. change position and take your photo from the front of the animal.

Epilogue
You've uploaded a lot already. Nice to see you that diligent. Small advice : As this is a contest and not a community you please send only your very best photos. Don't forget : we are here to win ;-)

All the best,

Rico
