Suggestions :
great picture, but I think you might know what I will tell you smile I personally would prefer the mouth in focus as well, but that's me!

smile slightly diagonal
smile sharp eyes
smile eye level
doh! the green stuff in the lower left corner

I would try even more diagonal aw, shucks

blennies are usually skittish and not easy to get close to. You performed well

again in order to get an outstanding shot you have to work hard and try different approaches, may this be in the composition or the lightening or else...
