Wonderful dive in Fakarava lagoon south pass in the Tuamotus. White tips black tips and gray sharks everywhere literally 100 s all around. We did 2 dives and 9 snorkel runs on incoming tides over a 10 day period and never got tired of it

message I agree with William, who just pipped me to nominating this as a hotshot. Fabulous colours, nicely framed (and great use of the portrait format - not enough people use it, Suz).

message Suzan, beautiful shot. How big is that nudi and what did you shoot it with? Thanks.

message Thank you, Thank you everyone... It was shot with a 105 and a 10x diopter dual inon strobes. At Bethlehem in Anilao... Can someone give me its name? I am waiting for my book to come in... I had to get an indo pacific book, because none of the ones I've photographed are in any of the books I have, and I've misplaced one of my old south pacific nudi books. I'm kind of a fish out of water without my i.d. books

message Suzan,
To avoid even carrying a book, I bought the e-vetsion from a company called Blio.

website

You can download it for your iPhone or iPad. If you want to look at your fish ID stuff on the boat, they even make waterproof covers for the iPad. Great shot, whatever it is.
