First impression

Thought Out-of-the-Box!


Technical ( score from 1-6, best is 6 )

Exposure : 3, Colours: 4, Sharpness: 4, DOF ( depth of field ) : 3, Contrast : 4


Suggestions :

Let's have a look at the histogramm: You see that by far the biggest part of the curves is on the left half side, nearly nothing in the midtones and except the small white parts, there's nothing in the lights.

Sharpness: It's a bokeh play but nevertheless the part in fokus should be crisp. DOF is too near.


Composition :

it's a creative approach to leave the eyes out of focus in favor for the mouth


Suggestions :

The eyes are most attractive and therfore the most important focus point. To abandon this attraction, you need a superior substitute. IMHO, this mouth isn't worth it.

The subject is worth a nice bokeh shot. No doubt.


Epilogue :

To become an outstanding artist you need this out of the box thinking, called creativity. I like it very much that you are trying out new ideas. Keep on and don't let you get discouraged! The way to the top is a way full of failures and successes.
