message Thanks, John! I used a 100mm macro lens for the first time on that trip and "rediscovered" night dives. Thats why I was so interested in your shrimp shot and on what f-stop you were using, as many of my shrimp shots didn't have that great DOF due to my too wide aperture.

message Yes I understand. I started to up my strobes to get smaller F stops. Last trip I started using +10 diopter. Was using the highest Fstop I could crank out. Worked great.

Just got a 105mm. Headed to Blue Heron Bridge end of septemeber. We will see.......

Just love the shrimp. Great find. A woman I know, Ellen Muller from Bonaire,
shoots great stuff and almost all at night.
