Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are in MID WATER not touching anything (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)

Found this little one off Wakatobi, south Sulawesi. D70, Subal, 60mm macro.
Diamond Blenny. D100 and 105 lens.

Don't schoolmasters have that knack of keeping an eye on you in class, no matter what you do! Canon A70 & internal flash. This one reminds me of my old Physics teacher, he had a large sloping forehead too!

"Hypnotic" This small Lion Fish swam underneath me at a rate of knots then slowed and splayed out its pectoral fins, as it was moving it made the circular pattern swirl. Made a great contrast to the Black Volcanic sand of Lembeh Straight. C5050/Iflas

This little blenny from Fiji looks like he's just hanging out.
This chain moray proved to be very shy indeed. I had to wait for almost 10 minutes for him to come out of his crevice...

This Fire Dartfish was one of the most colorful of the small fish we saw in Fiji.
They call him the "False Percula Clown (Amphiprion ocellaris)". I say he'll do till the real thing comes along!
