I like looking for them when I dive in lakes - it is the "grub" (not sure of the word) before it becomes an insect out of the water. It's about 2cm big...

these tadpoles were all tightly grouped in a small area under a sunken tree,always hard to find macro subjects in freshwater.

Great crop, great framing and composition. The action moving into frame from a disappearing point. A unique shot proving swimming pools can also provide subjects
Head to Head with this magnificiant and very big "Brochet (Pike Fish)" in a small lake in Switzerland... Diving lakes is soooooo Beautiful :O)
A lake Snail called "Limnée" - it is about 2 cm big. You can find them down to 30m. They are very shy, specially when you put light on them. But they are so beautiful...
