Feb-March in Fiji brings the hungry female bull sharks back in droves. After giving birth up the rivers the girsl head back to the deep waters of the Beqa channel with ferocious appetites.

Legend of Beqa. This massive 3.5m pregnant female Bull shark is being hand fed by a native of Beqa island, Fiji. The gods are said to protect the islanders from being harmed by the sharks who they inturn protect. This is a truely amazing experience

Pregnant Silvertip Shark, shot in Beqa Lagoon whilst on the Aquatrek Shark dive. One of 5 silvertips that buzzed me today during the shoot.
Siclefin Lemon Shark on Patrol!! She's obviously just eaten as there is a piece of flesh hanging out from her mouth. Big girl at over 2m. She certainly wasn't camera shy circling around me while i was trying to photograph some bull sharks.

Silvertip reef shark taken in Beqa Channel, Fiji. During our shoot she frequantly snuck up from behind me and pushed her tummy onto my head. Very big for a silvertip at around the 2m mark. SHot using a nikon D90 and Nikons new 10-24mm lens.
This beauty is a 14-16 foot Tiger shark being hand fed in Beqa Channel, Fiji. Taken with Nikon D90 with twin Z240's. Using the new Nikon 10-24 lens. No cropping. Being cm's from the dome she almost ate my housing...and me. Stunning girl.

Big 2.5m Bull Shark, Beqa, Fiji. Shot with Nikon D90, duel Z240 inon strobes. After being dive bombed a fewtimes I shot this while on my back and the shark inches from the dome. lucky the shot was clear and you can't tell i was shaking like a leaf.
