Since 2006 I am an uw-photographer. I am a friend of OLYMPUS cameras. So I use an E-5 in a BS-KINETICS housing and also an E-30 in a BS-KINETICS housing. My favourite dive sites are the caribbean sea (especially curacao) and the philippines. My top shots are not only together with fishes, wrecks and deep blue water...I also love to make underwater images with models and mermaids... so take a look if you want to :-)

| Dave Baxter | I got serious about U/W photos about 2 years ago - my 1st DSLR was a Nikon D50 in Ikelite housing , which lasted those 2 years until the need to improve the MP count as well as FPS count got too great (D50 is a 6mp camera) - hence I have upgraded to a Nikon D300s in aquatica housing in March 2010

I dive the temperate waters around Western Australia -traveling once a year to a tropical location for fantastic creatures and warm water ;-) I really enjoy the stress of temperate macro work -its a challenge . | My Website

| MALIA BEGGS | My newest camera is the Canon G10. However, for the first two years experience in underwater photography, I used the Canon A650IS. My favorite dive site is the Cathedral at Pescador Island in Tanon Straight, west of Cebu Island in the Philippines. The majority of my experience is in the Philippines, which is the most beautiful area in the world to dive & take underwater pictures. The abundance of coral & fish species is incredible!
Underwater photography is just the beginning of my biggest passion in life. In March, 2010, I will complete my Master Diver's Certification. Then just enjoy taking u/w pictures all over the world. | | United States | |

I am very fortunate to live an hour forty five minutes away from the birthplace of Philippine Scuba, Anilao, Batangas so most of my favorite dive sites are located there because I get to go anytime I want to. | Richard Bibb | I started diving in Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands and trying to explain the beauty of it led me to want to take photos underwater. Initially I used those cheap disposable cameras you find in airports but, without a flash or a decent lens, the colours were all wrong and the quality poor.
Some time later I switched to an Olympus C5050z in an Olympus housing. This truned out to be a wonderful investment that, coupled with a housing upgrade (to an Ikelite housing) and an external strobe, lasted nearly five years. My improved abilities and it's resolution and shutter lag limitations proved too frustrating.
My latest camera brings me right up to date and is way more capable that it's user. It's a canon 5D in a Subal housing with twin Inon Z240 strobes. Room to grow I hope......
The only fly in the ointment is a new born son, who I love to bits. I'll see soon what it's like taking a 9 month old son on a diving holiday :0) | |  United Kingdom | |
