Stalking the elusive mystery coral off the Na Pali coast of Kauai. I don't know if the category fits...I don't know what kind of coral it is. I'm not in the least bit educated in these things.
This was the Sea of Cortez and the pups were very curious. Of course Mom Sealion was watching them and us very carefully!

Apo Island is an excellent place for wide angle shots using just natural light. Here I've used the magic filter.

First time snorkling "my wife" on the Great Barrier Reef. Canon 50D with a 18-55mm lens. Manual setting no strobes, using a magic filter.
Incredible beam of silversides sardines...light coming from the top of the reef.

Quick Peek. A harbor seal peers down after taking a breath at Anacapa Island. Shot with a canon digital rebel and 60mm f/2.8 lens in an Ikelite Housing with natural light.

just a lump of chain? No, Andrew made it into a photo by this diagonal composition. The receding size of the chain links pull your eye in (we call a lead line). Not bad for a 'nothing' subject eh!
