One of the fastest moving predators at the Sardine Run are the Cape Gannets. Watching their aerial assault from a boat is amazing. Witnessing it from within the water is simply breathtaking!

Swept in-shore from the deep by up-welling currents, this Root-mouthed jellyfish is on its last few breaths. Its a long and treacherous path it was swept along as its battered body is testament too.

He became my dive buddy for the full duration of my dive. Playing games and entertaining one another. Two happy souls at the end of the dive I would like to believe...I know I was!

I was out snorkeling when I became aware that something was following me. At closer in inspection it turned out to be this beautiful Honey Comb eel. It was literally tracking my movements and using these coral heads as cover.
