This is a photo of a lizard fish resting on hard coral. Taken at Minilog site during the 2023 Anilao Underwater Shootout.
Microlife on the Andamans reef.Here we see a beautiful Blenny close-up . Abundant and highly biodiverse, these species mature early, produce many offspring and they are a vital food source for other marine creatures.

This Spot-fin Porcupinefish is fully inflated underneath Blue Heron Bridge in Riviera Beach Florida. Taken on an Olympus tg6 with no lenses. Couldn't have asked for a better pose.

This Longsnout Seahorse was found under Blue Heron Bridge in Riviera Beach Florida. This shot was taken around midnight when I came across this little guy clinging to the reef trying to avoid being swept away in the strong current.

This group of snails (Vermetidae or ‘worm snails’) make a tubular shell and adhere themselves to the reef. From the safety of their shell they excrete a mucus net.strobe diving from Dumaguete. Later, they reel it back in and enjoy.TG6 natural light

Peek-a-boo
A blenny looks out of its burrow suspiciously. Note the fleshy branching appendages (named cirri) found above their eyes and nostrils. The biological role of cirri remains unclear but make them very nice!

This is small Hermit crab having very pretty colors on its body. It lives between the surface up to 70 meters deep. Its shell is a matter of survival, to protect its soft abdomen. I took this photo in the sea of Goa_2023
