Smaller subjects typically 1 to 3 inches (2.5 to 7.5cm) shot on macro settings or with macro equipment that are NOT MOVING usually on the bottom (i.e. between 1:1 and 1:3)
Taken at Seragaki Outer Reef at 65' on Okinawa Japan. The current turned this dive into a drift dive so in order to take the photo I had to hold onto the wall and shoot.

I came across this cluster of little anemones on Wilson’s Rock just off shore of San Miguel Island; each anemone is only the size of a half dollar.
I found this rare Fingerprint Cyphoma at Bonnie's Arch in Grand Cayman. I was using a Nikonos V, 35mm lens with a 1:3 extension tube, and a Sea & Sea YS-90 Duo strobe on TTL setting.
