This fish is aptly named "Painted Comber" it looks like some kid's painted fish drawing. This one is about 2ft in length and was taken on La Gomera in the Canaries, with Canon A70 using the internal flash
CRAB PYRAMID. The Photograph was easy, it was the crab training that took the time!
La Gomera, Canaries. Canon A70
Bullseyes at Busselton Jetty. Nikon Coolpix 990, Ikelite housing + ProII Video Lite
Don't schoolmasters have that knack of keeping an eye on you in class, no matter what you do! Canon A70 & internal flash. This one reminds me of my old Physics teacher, he had a large sloping forehead too!
The "Oro Verde" wreck, Grand Cayman. It's well and truly smashed up now by succesive storms, but the larger parts make an interesting photo. Taken with Canon A70 and natural light.
Unknown Nudibranch from Heron Island. If anyone knows what sort of Nudibranch this is, then please let me know.
Queen and Orange Sponge from "Turtle Reef", Grand Cayman. Canon A70 using internal flash in a shady area at the bottom of the mini wall.
Devilfish or Western Blue Devil. Photo taken in Esperance, Western Australia (sea = Great Australian Bight)using Coolpix 990, Ikelite housing and Pro II video lite. Maybe not the best fish portrait, but I just love the colours
"Watch where you are putting those feelers, you could have someone's eye out!"
Cleaner Shrimps from La Gomera in Canary Isles, using Canon A70 with internal flash
Come on give me a kiss!

Hey Hotlips!
Juvenille Queen Angelfish under a tiny ledge. I couldn't avoid the green weed getting in the way slightly, but it does add depth to the photo.
Tugboat wreck at Wreck City, St Eustatius. I'm going to have to get my dive Buddy Jill to hold her breath a bit longer next time!
Striped Hermit from La Gomera in Canary Islands. Climbing up and over some red sponge, so you get a good look at those hairy legs. Taken with Canon A70 and internal flash
Fangtooth Moray (Enchelycore anatina) from La Gomera in the Canary Isles
Taken in La Gomera, Canary Islands. Nearly all the Glasseye Snappers here, are infested with Isopod parasites on the tail. They obviously don't go to the cleaning stations very often!
Who needs a fishing rod? I could have caught these Red Mullet in my hand! Anybody know what they taste like? Taken last week in La Gomera, Canary Islands using Canon A70 and internal flash
The other variety of Sea-Dragon, the Weedy Sea-Dragon. Not as attractive as the Leafy, but equally mesmerising to my wife Jill and special dive buddy. Taken shore diving at Lucky Bay, Australia with Nikon Coolpix 990 & Video Lite
Leafy Sea-Dragon found while shore diving at Lucky Bay, Western Australia. Taken with Nikon Coolpix 990 and Video Lite. Without the lights, the Leafy Sea-Dragon is almost indistinguishable from the weeds. I'd watch these until the air ran out!
Runner Up - worthy of note but not a medal winner - an equal 4th place if you like! Runner Up 2006

Watch out all you supermodels, here comes the glamourous Bonairean Octopus!
