This shot was taken during this years annual sardine migration. I had removed my strobes due to the backscatter and forgot to add weight, i was sat on the surface whilst my friends were seeing an awesome ball below, i was lucky to nail this shot.

Wonderfully curious, ridiculously energetic and wildly mischievous. South Africa's Cape fur seals bring a smile to every divers face.

'The view from below'. Broadnose sevengill shark, broad snouted sevengill, ground shark, Pacific seven-gill shark, spotted cow shark and Tasmanian tiger shark are just a few of the names given to this 'wolf of the sea'.

Wonderfully prehistoric, the Broadnose Sevengill Shark is easily identified by the unique seven gills and its broad head and blunt snout.

Spotted this decorated crab with a piece of orange sponge part of its decoration. The shape of which reminded me of the head of a hammerhead shark and a character in Pirates of the Caribbean smile

We benefits of marine reserves around Cape Town can be seen. Some kids of fishing is still allowed within these parks, which is not ideal, but great to see a return in fish numbers.
