This opportunity came about on a dive at Aliwal Shoal at the end of July 2010. It was around 10:00 in the morning at a depth of 18-20m with good conditions all around.

whip gobies - taken off No.1 - the reef on No.1 is called Nevs Ledge...
in 10m of water off Durban - the Caves is one of the only overhead sea dives Iam aware off in SA. Conditions have to be dead calm to get in the cave comfortably.

It's good to see a repeating subject recede to a dissappearing point

Double Trouble, a bit of patience paid off when a second Ribbon Eel appeared after about 20 minutes.
A rare venture into some macro work for me over the weekend.
