Another Polycera... this one was sitting on a dark kelp frond. Photographed with little light it seems to be floating in thin air... eh, water. Nikon D200 in Nexus housing, Inon Z-240 strobes. Nikkor 105 mm, manual, ISO 100, f/16, 1/60.

The rabbit fish (Chimaera monstrosa) is common at depths ranging from 50 to 1000 meters. In the fjords of Norway it can be seen by divers as it migrate shallower at up to 10-30m meters. Fantastic animal!

Clione limacina, or sea angel, photographed outside Kristiansand on the Norwegian south coast. These little ophistobranchs grow to about 3 centimeters and sometimes occur in such grat numbers that they are food for whales :-)

I waited until the nudi came to the edge of the leaf, so the edge itself and some black back ground could give the photo some extra depth. I tried to get the nudis face placed in the Rule of thirds. I placed focus on the closest head tentacle.
