Just when you thought it was safe to back into the marsh... Sharks near shore, frogs on the beach, it was just a matter of time...

Cowfish eye. Nikonos V, 35 mm, 1:2 extension tube, SB 105 on Kodachrome 64. No cropping and no photoshop work, that's actually the color of the fish's eye, or the reflection of the strobe off the retina. Red eye with humans, is it blue eye with fish?
