This is a breaching female Orca. A young male is surfacing next to her. Shot in British Columbia, Canada.
This dolphin was following my boat in the Santa Barbara channel off the coast of Southern California.

Breaching baby Orca. this young whale popped up right in front of my kayak in the Johnstone Strait, Canada.
Orca. This young whale was chasing salmon next to my kayak in British Columbia.
Diving Humpback Whale. This fellow surfaced and crashed dived near my kayak outside of Glacier Bay Alaska.
Breaching Gray Whale. This youngster broke water beside my boat over two dozen times in a hoalf hour.
Lunge feeding Humpback Whale.
This was taken in the Santa Barbara channel, off the coast of southern California recently. Thousands of Humpbacks feed here in the summer.
Baleen Mouth.
This Gray Whale allowed me to scratch her tongue, then squirted water at me. Shot off the coast of Southern Baja, Mexico
Curious baby Gray Whale.
This youngster was a bit confused during the southern migration and started going north. He came to us as though asking for directions.
Eye of a Gray Whale.
This was shot in san Ignacio Lagoon, Baja. A female Gray Whale taking a close look at me.
I work as a naturalist in San Ignacio Lagoon Mexico. Whales come up to me each day as they know me.
