U/W photo comps get inundated with Nemo shots and by and large they should not win. It's hard to come up with a new shot but every now and then a new treatment comes along and should be pointed out
Juvenile lionfish in lembeh strait.
I am not sure if this is allowed in the competition but anyway here is pygmy seahorse in twelve variations.
The magnificent Chromodoris Magnifica from Lembeh strait
Halgerda Batangas in Lembeh strait
This is a juvenile Hippocamous Bargibanti. It shared the fan with some adults and when i compared the sizes i could observe that this guy was as big as the head of the adults. This means that it is between 5 and 10 mm long.
Anyone who know this species? I and the critter has something in common, we are both a huge questionmark :-)
In early spring the swan is resting on the icefree part of the lake waiting to migrate further north.
Cuttlefish
Mug shot
Hippocampus bargibanti: The most common variation is the red one. The yellow variation is more difficult to find, but did you know that there is an orange variation too :-)
