| Charlie Foreman | I have been diving since the late 70s and and began teaching SSI in the early 80s. I have made in excess of 7000 dives,taught over 2500 students and am an SSI Platinum Pro Instructor. I first started underwater photography in 1982 with a Nikonos III and later bought a IV. I then graduated to 2 Nikonos Vs. I shot film until I converted to digital in 2002.I am still learning digital but I like the ability to see your photos underwater as you take them. I am shooting an Olympus 5050 housed in a Lights and Motion Tetra housing with 2 Sea&Sea YS-90DX strobes. I finally got to take the trip of all trips to the Galapagos Islands and liked it so much that I have another planned for August 2009. We went in August 2007 when it was the best time for the whalesharks although a bit cool and dove with 22 in 3 days...WHAT A RUSH!!!!!! I am going to try and go back to the Galapagos again in 2012.
