Yves Antoniazzo achieved a high level of success in UnderwaterPhotography.com photo contest 2007.

medalThis photography contest is the longest running and one of the most prestigious online. If you want to make a name for yourself this is THE place to do it. Many other internationally acclaimed photographers have launched their photo careers here over the years.

Every January a panel of judges select the best images entered in our online photo contest from the previous year. Gold, silver, and bronze medals are awarded for the top three from each category in order of merit.

The judges comprise of industry professionals (and last year’s World Champ). They are unpaid, non-affiliated, and (of course) cannot enter themselves.

One of our medals is the reward for all the hard work Yves Antoniazzo put in chasing those great shots in far-flung destinations. It's the most coveted prize because it says you succeeded in the most competitive environment there is, against the top talent of the moment. Yves Antoniazzo was up against 6252 entries to get placed this year.

My Profile

Yves Antoniazzo

I am from Switzerland
Member since: Wednesday, December 8, 2004
Ive been taking pictures for about 12 years now. First with a Nikonos V and a Sea & Sea camera and for the last 5 years Ive been trying my luck with digital. I started with a Sony Cybershot, then bought the Olympus C-5050 and later an Olympus C-7070. I used Inon macro and wide angle lenses on each of these cameras as well as an external Inon strobe.
I've been living on Perhentian island in Malaysia and that's where I used to take most of my pictures, but during my holidays I took pictures in different locations.
I left Malaysia last October and I'm now traveling the world and taking pictures everywhere I go .
For nearly 2 years now I've been using two SLR cameras one Nikon D200 and a Canon 350 D with macro lenses and wide angle lenses for both of them, which I share with my wife.
