Very challenging to get in the water with orcas in the wild, but we did get in the water after very bad weather start. This is how sea mammals should be; free in the wild!

I lay on sand quietly watching this chap. Loved it when he opened his mouth for the cleaners.

My First Manta. / Each time I go into the ocean, I look forward with great anticipation to new encounters. While in Palau, Micronesia, I had such a first with a manta. Ascending to the surface at German Channel, a well known Manta cleaning station,

deceptively simple but well thought out. usually model shots are a tight crop and central placement so this is deliberate composition designed to be uneasy on the eye. look at the subtle red stilettos. note no pool tiles but proper neutral background
