We prefer natural shots and don't want to encourage image manipulation but this is such a strong image from Mathew
Inspired by nearby competition, this male humpback put some serious power into this series of forward lunges. In 7 years of whale watching, I had never seen a lunge like this from this angle. Taken with a canon 350d and 70-300 lens.

You're diving a bit to close to those nuclear power station outpipes Glen! Seriously, we have never seen anything like this before and probably never will again ;-)
I was very lucky when I saw this harlequin shrimp climbing down the edge of a sponge to get to the arm of a starfish that was lying at the bottom of it. No, I didn't put it there, but someone else may have done so before me and I just got lucky smile

This portrait fills the frame very nicely
Manta Ray Feeding on the surface at Sangalaki , Indonesia . Sometimes over 100 can be seen lining up in the current for lunch.

Nice Under/Over surface reflection shot of a Manta Roger
This seahorse and its partner lived in Paradise 1 ( Mabul, Borneo ) for a long time nice and shallow. Many a deco stop was spent trying for something different with the last few shots of a roll .

Roger explains one secret of u/w photographs like this - many rolls of film! Well done!
I had just a fraction of a second to pull my hands, holding the camera, back into the cage before this cutie was almost in my face. This is one of those moments in which I miss a motor winder in my Nikonos V. Dyer island, Gansbaai, South Africa.
