Shark Reef is the most famous and populer dive site in the Red Sea for the variety of its marine environment and above all for the extraordinary abundance of its reef and pelagic fauna.
This side is usualyy overcrowded. Try to arrive early in the morning.
Be careful of the currents, which can be violent at times!!

this pipeline was used during the Isreali occupation as desalination engine . The tubes are now covred in soft corals where lots of smaller and bigger critters hide.

as the name says, it's a beautiful coral garden. At 20m depth you get to a small pinnacle which is envelopped in a moving glassfish cloud. In the deeper part you can see barracudas, huge rays and turtles passing. In the coral garden itself you can visit Frances, the red frogfish , several octopi and murays as most of the Red Sea creatures.
