Fly Point is located in Nelson Bay inside the large port of Port Stephens on the east coast of Australia. Nelson Bay is 2.5 - 3 hours drive north of Sydney.

Fly point is mainly a macro dive site with over 100 different species of nudibranch have been reported here. It is in a sanctuary (no take) zone in the Port Stephens - Great Lakes Marine Park. Maximum depth is close to 30m but most of the photography subjects are in the 5 - 12m range. There is a huge sponge garden which would take many dives to explore properly. It is also the starting point for our drift dive, which exits at another divesite called the Pipeline.
