An area of underwater stautues which is now probably more interesting as they have been ravaged by Hurricanes and Storms. The viz is very poor so you can only go there when the weather is very good.

The ship wreck lays less than 10 minutes off the carribean side of grenada.
We stayed at the Rex Grenadian hotel and dived with Devotion 2 Ocean who are situated on the beach of the hotel.
The Veronica L is an old mine sweeper that sank carrying concrete. To its side is the most beautiful flat bed reef that is scattered with rocks, grasses and corals.
Amazing dive sites... all less than 10 mins from the beach ... definately not to be missed.

Reef life = 6/10 (Unfortunately the affects of Ivan are still present, but its growing back and there a number of dive sites worth the trip in and around Grenada)
Flamingo bay is a calm, shallow dive good for reef life, especially sea horses. Not for larger aquatic life. Theres a wreck and another dive site a few hundred feet away know as Sculpture Park.

Bianca C is probably the most famous ship wreck in the Caribbean. She sits in 150ft of water, she is an Italian cruise ship that sunk in 1961, being 600ft long you can do a few dives on her and still not see it all. It can be an exciting dive as you never know what you might see, it may be sharks, spotted eagle rays, atlantic spade fish, and jacks, this is to name just a few.
Here at Dive Grenada we also have technical groups come a couple of times a year (MAD DOG expiditions) and they will teach all aspects of tech diving on the Bianca C. So longer bottom time on her and some penertration to different parts of the ship.
So this is one dive not to be missed.

This is the wreck of an Italian Ocean Liner that burnt and sank in the 1960's. She is 600 feet long and very deep (the top is reached at 30m - the bottom at 50+) It is covered in coral and is home to lots of small marine life.
