Santa Barbara Janolus at Monterey Wharf 2. We have been seeing these up here the last bunch of years in the fall. They used to not be this far north.

There is a thermocline on the RHS. It gets deeper on the left side as you can see from the blue color. The sea is almost flat, just some ripples which creates a nice wavy reflection of the stones at the surface of the water
