Santa Barbara Janolus at Monterey Wharf 2. We have been seeing these up here the last bunch of years in the fall. They used to not be this far north.

"Feathers on a cloud", feather stars resting on cloud sponge. A night dive in Stuart Channel, near Chemainus BC. This is an area with plenty of feather stars , and a few cloud sponge. This is the first time I have seen them both togeather.
